Kankariya: A man who was dressed up as Santa clause and allegedly doing religious propaganda by distributing Christian literature was kicked out from Kankariya Lake Front during the ongoing Kankariya Carnival on Friday night. A video of the same has gone viral.

According to the Hindu rights activists, a person was doing religious propaganda for conversion during the last three evenings at Kankariya Lake Front among the visitors who would come here to enjoy the Kankariya Carnival, organized by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC).

Based on this tip-off, the Hindu right cadres said they arranged a watch on Friday evening and as they spotted the person dressed up as Santa clause doing religious propaganda with the intention to convert the Hindus, they rushed toward him and asked him to leave.
