Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has given initial approval to 204 fitness centers for effective implementation of the vehicle scrapping policy in the State. These fitness centers will be operational by March 2023. Spokesperson minister of the Gujarat government, Rushikesh Patel informed the media persons today that the new policy has provision for fitness tests of 15 years old commercial vehicles. There are 23 lakh such vehicles in Gujarat. The new policy has provision for the compulsory scrapping of 15-year-old public and private vehicles. DeshGujarat
