Surat, Vadodara airports consistently loss making

Gandhinagar: Only SVPI airport in Ahmedabad is operating in profit in Gujarat. All 10 other airports are making a loss. As per the latest figures of the last five years available, Surat airport made Rs. 120.62 crore losses in the last five years period covering 2017 to 2022 while Vadodara airport has made Rs. 130.96 crore losses in three years covering 2017 to 20 2020. Porbandar, Jamnagar, Keshod, Kandla, Diu, Bhuj, Bhavnagar, and Rajkot are other airports that have made losses. DeshGujarat
