5,000 devotees can have meal at once in new Bhojanalaya at Salangpur Hanuman Mandir

Sarangpur: A 54-feet high idol of Hanumanji will be unveiled today, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the new Bhojanalaya at Shree Kashtabhanjan Hanumanji Mandir in Salangpur tomorrow, on Hanuman Jayanti – 6th April

The head of the organization, Param Pujya 1008 Rakesh Prakash Dasji, will unveil the idol. The Bhojanalaya, built across 7 acres in the mandir at a cost of Rs 40 crore, can accommodate up to 5 thousand people for Prasad simultaneously.

The cooking in the Bhojanalaya will be done using oil-based technology, without fire or electricity. The building of Bhojanalaya is around 2 lakh 30 thousand square feet and is constructed on 250 columns. It has 75-foot wide steps with escalators between them for senior citizens and specially-abled people. A special cavity wall is installed to maintain the temperature inside the building.
