Too less share of Patidars in key administrative posts ; Gujarat Minister to community members

Vadodara: In a function to perform groundbreaking and laying the foundation stone for the hostels for the Saurashtra Leuva Patidar (Patel) community members, Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel wished to see more people from the Patidar community in key administrative posts. Patel appealed to the community members to do their come forward and contribute to making this happen.

‘We are ahead in each field, I hear there are industrialists who donate Rs. 25 – 25 crore, and we are ahead in the field of education also, but our proportion is lagging compared to our population in all the key administrative posts such as  class-2, class-1, IPS, IAS, IFS, IRS,’ Raghavji Patel who belongs to Leuva Patidar community from Saurashtra region said in a function organized by Saurashtra Leuva Patel Seva Samaj for groundbreaking and foundation stone laying of a new girls hostel, working women hostel and boys hostel.

‘We are economically prosperous but they do administrate. Our community is hard-working and if our people sit in administration and if we have more and more people of our community in administrative posts of class-1, class-2, and above cadres, then in totality the society and the state will benefit from that. I request to come forward and provide guidance, coaching, and economical support to candidates.’

Raghavji stated this in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel who hails from Kadva Patidar community.
