Surat: The sale of duty-free gold for jewellery exporters at a newly set up gold distribution centre in SBI’s main branch in Chowk Bazar has begun in Surat for the first time in Gujarat through the State Bank of India(SBI), on-demand from the Surat Jewellery Manufacturer Association (SJMA). So far the majority of over 450 jewellery-making units were purchasing duty-free gold from Mumbai.
