Jamnagar: In a unique way of protesting against “poor service offered by the dealer”, some trucks were brought down to the showroom from where they were purchased, by tying them up behind a camel cart. The trucks were brought down with a music band. The trucks were bought five months ago.
The truck driver, Mushtakbhai, said, “I bought 19 trucks from Tata Motors here in Jamnagar, but for the past five months, the trucks have been facing problems. Every time we make a trip to Mumbai, the silencer gets locked. I have been bringing these trucks for service for five months, but the engineers are not able to provide a solution.
Today, I have brought all these trucks here to submit them to the dealer by tying them up behind the camel cart. It’s been five months since I bought these 19 trucks of the 2018 model, and all of the trucks have problems.”
“The dealership had sold 19 cargo trucks to Ranjit Freight Carrier. The silencers of the trucks were facing problems, and we had already informed the company about it. We are trying to sort out the problem as soon as possible,” said the dealership. DeshGujarat
