Vadodara: Yogesh Patel, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) MLA of the Manjalpur area has announced his decision to forgive one Mohammad Anis Mohammad Hanif Daruwala (44), the accused who set fire to his car on January 27, 2022.

The accused, who is 44 years old and a resident of Daruwala Mansion in Mogalwada Vadi, had set fire to MLA Yogesh Patel’s Innova car, which was parked near Jubilee Baug police chowki. A case was filed against him at Raopura police station. MLA Yogesh Patel stated that he withdrew the case against the accused, considering his weak financial situation. He added that the accused’s father’s health condition is bad. If the case were to continue, the accused could be punished with a 7-year imprisonment, he said. DeshGujarat
