Bhavnagar: During the investigation of an extortion case involving AAP leader Yuvrajsinh Jadeja, the Bhavnagar police have found documents showing that Jadeja used extorted money to purchase a plot of land near Dehgam in the Gandhinagar district.

The SIT team has discovered a diary related to a payment of Rs. 13 lakhs to a builder for a plot in Dehgam, as well as a stamp paper of Rs. 1.47 lakhs in Yuvrajsinh’s name bought on 12th April 2023. The value of the plot is reportedly Rs. 30 lakh. Police sources said Yuvrajsinh’s father-in-law helped him transfer Rs. 6 lakh to the builder via an angadia. A CCTV footage supporting the same has come to light.

Police had previously recovered Rs. 84 lakhs from various places in the Rs. 1 crore extortion case and have now found evidence of a transaction of approximately Rs. 13 lakhs to buy the plot from Manan Bharatbhai Doshi.
