Ahmedabad: Sarkhej police in the city have booked an accused for allegedly installing an “MLA Gujarat” board on his car, despite not holding the position of an MLA. The car owner had also dark film over car windows, which is a violation of rules.
The accused, Manavsinh Mahendrasinh Chavda (21 years old, residing in Sector 2, Gandhinagar) was having tinted glass on all the windows of his Hyundai Verna car, violating the notification that prohibits its usage. He had also allegedly put an ‘MLA Gujarat’ plate over the car; however, he was neither associated with an MLA nor did any of his family members hold the post of MLA.
The moving car of the accused was spotted by a senior police officer in the Sindhu Bhavan road area in the city and later stopped. DeshGujarat
