Ahmedabad: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today arrested a Senior Instructor of Diesel Shed Sabarmati, Western Railway, Ahmedabad for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 25,000/- from the Complainant.

A case was registered on complaint against a Senior Instructor, T.R. Meena. It was alleged that the accused had demanded a bribe of Rs. 50,000/- for getting the Mutual Transfer Application of the Complainant forwarded to the DRM Office, Western Railway, Ahmedabad. It was further alleged that the accused agreed to accept a bribe of Rs. 40,000/- from the Complainant.

CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.25,000/- from the Complainant.

The accused will be produced before the Competent Court. DeshGujarat
