Ahmedabad: With the Monsoon season drawing near, the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has published a list of helpline numbers for emergency situations arising from Heavy Rain, thunderstorms, hailstorms, and strong surface winds.

The civic body of the city has made available the helpline numbers to contact in the event of road collapses due to heavy rain, the formation of ditches, the collapse or falling of roadside and other trees lightning striking a house, and waterlogging and flooding in low-lying areas of the city. AMC has made 24 control rooms in the case of any unfavourable situation during the whole monsoon season.
