Flavored country liquor was sold as ayurvedic syrup; Rajkot Police nab one

Rajkot: The police have nabbed one Ashraf Mir from Gondal for his involvement in the production of flavoured country liquor. The drink was created by combining local liquor, water, and various essences.
The police discovered a factory producing a flavoured country liquor disguised as Ayurvedic syrup in a godown located in Padvala. The Shapar police nabbed Ashraf Mir from Gondal, who was allegedly involved in the production of the narcotic drink at the godown in Padvala. An inquiry was conducted after catching him which revealed that the drink was made by combining local liquor, water, and various essences. Additionally, water chestnut (Singhada) flour was added to thicken the drink. The Shapar police informed that Ashraf had knowledge of various essences due to his previous experience running a soda shop. DeshGujarat
