Former Gujarat Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma hospitalized

Gandhinagar: The former education minister of the state, Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, suddenly fell ill and is in hospital undergoing treatment.

At his residence here in the state capital, around two o’clock in the morning, he experienced difficulty in breathing and immediately went to UN Mehta Hospital for treatment. During the medical check-up, a blockage in his duct was discovered, and he will undergo bypass surgery. Currently, a team of specialist doctors is treating him. After the surgery, he will be kept under observation in the ICU for 3 days.

Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, 74 years old, has been actively involved in the Gujarat BJP for over 33 years. He is known as a calm, gentle, and senior leader. Throughout his 33-year political career, Bhupendrasinh Chudasama has held various positions and ministerial roles within the government, starting from the BJP organization. He holds a high position within the BJP, with the nickname ‘Bapu’.

Bhupendrasinh Chudasama served as a minister from 1990 to 2020. He first became the Education Minister and Law Minister after being elected from the Dholka Assembly in the 2019 Assembly Elections.
