Gandhinagar: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh will need to remain present in the local court in Ahmedabad on July 26 in a defamation case filed by the Gujarat University. Kejriwal’s lawyer filed an exemption plea and told the court that Kejriwal and Singh couldn’t arrive today in the court due to a flood in Delhi which is a once in fifty years situation. The lawyer representing Gujarat University didn’t oppose the exemption plea as it is a natural calamity situation in Delhi. The court also accepted the plea and asked Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh to remain present in the court on the next date which is July 26.
