Nine from Gujarat on way to America for illegel entry are in jail in Caribbean country

Gandhinagar: Nine youths from Gujarat who were on their way to the United States of America for illegal entry are believed to be in Caribbean country’s jail. They had left Gujarat and reached Caribbean country Dominica via Europe. Their release will only be possible through the court proceeding in the country in which they are jailed.

Nine youths had left Gujarat in January this year and reached Dominica from where they wanted to go to Virgin Island in America via boat. However they were caught on the way on 9 February this year as their boat approached the limits of Guadeloupe instead of Virgin Island. The local police there arrested them and they are believed to be in jail.

Police have nabbed one Divyesh Patel, an visa agent back in Gujarat in this case. DeshGujarat
