Air Asia to start Ahmedabad – Don Mueang international flight from October 10

Gandhinagar: SVPI Airport in Ahmedabad will see starting of a new international flight on October 10. The flight will be the first to connect SVPI airport in Ahmedabad to Don Mueang (DMK) in Bangkok, the capital of South Eastern country Thailand. With this, the passengers from Ahmedabad, Gujarat will get air connectivity to the second international airport in Thailand, apart from the Suvarnabhumi airport, ahead of the Diwali vacation season.
The flight service on this route will be launched by Air Asia. The flight will operate for three days a week – Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It will leave Ahmedabad at 10.30 pm and Bangkok at 4.15 am local time. The passengers will need to travel 162 km to reach Pattaya and 26 km to reach Bangkok city if they chose this flight and land at DMK airport. DeshGujarat
