Valsad: A fishing boat registered in Yemen was found at a distance of five nautical miles from Kosamba coast in South Gujarat’s Valsad district on Friday. A local fisherman had brought this boat to the coast and informed the Sarpanch of Bhadeli and Hingraj villages who further informed police about this, following which the police and Daman based Coast Guard team started probe.

After investigation, it was revealed that the fishing boat, namely Al Azhar belonged to middle eastern country Yemen. A mobile phone and walkie talkie unit were found from inside the boat and deposited at Yellow Gate police station of Mumbai. No doubtful item was found from the boat. DeshGujarat
