Anand district collector honeytrap case accused sent to jails

Anand: Anand court has sent the three accused to judicial custody after rejecting their bail plea in the district collector office spy camera case. The court sent Ketki Vyas to the female barrack of Bilodra central jail in Nadiad and Jayesh Patel and Harish Chavda to Anand sub jail.
The three accused including the then RAC of Anand district, Ms. Ketki Vyas (KV Vyas), Chitnis to Collector Jayesh Patel and his friend Harish Chavda were produced in the court after the end of their remands. The three accused were produced to judge AH Mundra in the chief court at 11 am on 22nd August. The police haven’t demanded the additional remands of the accused.
The three accused were nabbed in the spy camera case in the collector office of the then Anand district collector DS Gadhvi. CK Patel, the lawyer of Ketki Vyas and Dipenbhai Shah, the lawyer of Jayesh Patel and Harish Chavda made a bail plea. The chief judicial magistrate and additional senior civil judge rejected the bail plea of the three accused and ordered to send them to judicial custody.
