Bhavnagar: In response to passenger convenience and travel demand, Western Railways has announced the introduction of a new train service between Bhavnagar and Haridwar stations.

The regular operation of this new weekly train service connecting Bhavnagar and Haridwar will commence on September 11, with the inaugural run scheduled for September 4. Reservations for the inaugural run will be available starting September 1, while bookings for regular services will begin on September 2.

Timings of the train

According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Train number 19271, the Bhavnagar-Haridwar Weekly Express, will depart from Bhavnagar every Monday at 8:20 PM, reaching Haridwar at 3:40 AM on Wednesday. This train will run regularly from September 11, 2023.

On its return journey, Train 19272, the Haridwar-Bhavnagar Weekly Express, will depart from Haridwar every Wednesday at 5 AM, arriving in Bhavnagar at 12:45 PM on Thursday. This train will commence regular operation on September 6, 2023.

Halts along the route

The train will make stops at Bhavnagar Para, Sihor Gujarat, Dhola Junction, Botad Junction, Limbdi, Surendranagar Gate, Viramgam, Mehsana, Patan, Bhildi, Dhanera, Marwar, Bhinmal, Modran, Jalore, Mokalsar, Samdhari, Jodhpur, Degana, Chhoti Khatu, Didwana, Ladnum, Sujangadh, Ratangarh, Churu, Sadalpur, Hisar, Jakhal, Suman Udham Singh Wala, Dhuri, Patiala, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, and Roorkee stations in both directions.

Coaches available

The train will offer various coach classes, including 2AC, 3AC, sleeper class, and general second-class coaches. Bookings for the regular train will open on September 2nd at all PRS counters and on the IRCTC website. DeshGujarat
