Sarkhej: Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti has removed Nautam Swami from the post of the president of Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti’s Gujarat unit. The decision was taken at the executive committee meeting of Sant Samiti at Lucknow in response to the representations made by various Sadhus.

This announcement was made by Vadodara-based Mahant Jyotirnath at a meeting of Sadhu saints at Lambe Hanuman mandir of Sarkhej. The meeting was held against the Swaminarayan sect’s tactics to distort Hindu Gods in various speeches, books, and in the latest murals.

Nautam Swami is from the Vadtal branch of the Swaminarayan sect. He is facing the heat of Sadhus and saints across Gujarat over his adamant stand on controversial murals depicting Hanuman as bhakta of Sahajand Swami, a saint who happened over 200 years ago.

It is believed that Nautam Swami after raising a huge controversy has gone to America.  The meeting of sadhus held at Sarkhej today also decided to boycott all Swaminarayan mandirs and functions.  Another meeting of Sadhus, a bigger one, is going to take place at Limbdi over this issue.

The sentiments of the devotees have been hurt by insulting Hanuman Dada and the deities of Sanatan Dharma, the government should take note of this and give directions to the Swaminarayan Sampradaya.

A law should be passed in Parliament by the Government of India to take strict action against those who alter the books of Sanatan Dharma.

Any sadhu saints of Sanatan Dharma boycott Swaminarayan temple from today, will not welcome saints and will not accept or extend their invitation.

Saints and devotees of Swaminarayan sect consider Sahajananda Swami as their favorite deity. They should not install any deity of Sanatan Dharma in Swaminarayan temples.

The saints and devotees of the Swaminarayan sect should not take the names of the deities of Sanatan religion.

Saints of the Swaminarayan sect should not recite the scriptures of Sanatan Dharma like Bhagwat Gita, Ramacharit Manas and Yajna rituals.

Any part in the scriptures of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya that attempts to downplay the Hindu Gods and Goddesses of Sanatan Dharma should be permanently removed.

In the Swaminarayan Sampradaya wherever the gods and goddesses of Sanatana Dharma are shown inferior to Sahajananda Swami, remove such murals and immediately and forever.

Immediate resignation of Swaminarayan’s saints in any Sanatan Dharma institution.

Do not insult any tradition of Sanatan Dharma by asking Mataji or Sadhvi sisters to go down from the stage.

Don’t try to hide the line of Sanatan Dharma and enlarge your own line.

To vacate the premises of Sanatan Dharma occupied by the saints of Swaminarayan and return them to the Government.
