Vadodara: The crime branch police have nabbed one Juned Bavarchi of the Navapura area of the city for making a video inciting hatred between two communities below the Akota Bridge and making it viral on social media.

The crime branch nabbed Juned Jafar Bavarchi (age 20, lives in Navapura Mehbubpura, Vadodara, and Kabir Complex Khatkivad, Vadodara) for making and viraling a video for the purpose of inciting communal hatred.

Gotri police have already nabbed eight accused of torturing Muslim females who had relations with men from other religions. The accused were members of the social media groups Army of Mehendi and Lashkar E. Adam.

The remands of the three accused nabbed on the first day are over. The three accused are now in judicial custody in Vadodara Central Jail. The remands of the other five accused who were arrested later, are ongoing. The crime branch conducted an inquiry into 35 people in this case.
