Kalol MLA calls Swaminarayan sect an institution for money collection

Panchmahal: Fatesinh Chauhan, an MLA from the ruling Bhartiya Janta party (BJP) representing the Kalol constituency in Panchmahal, has stated that the Swaminarayan sect is not centered around knowledge but rather an institution focused on collecting money.
A video featuring MLA Fatesinh Chauhan has gone viral on social media, in which he can be watched saying, “Once I visited Sokhda Swaminarayan temple and I asked these people (Swaminarayan sect) if they believe in a sadguru, and they said no… This Swaminarayan sect is not a hub of knowledge; instead, Swaminarayan is an institution for money collection. They have no knowledge of Dharma. They are such debaucherous people. They are frequently in the news due to infighting in their many temples. They are running their sect in the name of our gods and goddesses. They claim that Sadanand Swami is the master of the entire universe, but they don’t provide any information about who Sadanand Swami is.”
This statement by the MLA comes just after the controversy about the murals at the Salangpur Hanuman temple, run by the Swaminarayan sect, was settled after much deliberation. DeshGujarat.
