Matel Dham protests offensive remark by a Swaminarayan saint on Khodiyar Mataji

Wankaner: Matel Dham, located near Wankaner, has lodged a protest against the offensive statement made by Swaminarayan saint Bramhaswaroopdas about Khodiyar Mataji in a viral video clip.

A video clip of Swaminarayan saint Bramhaswaroopdas has gone viral on social media, in which he can be heard saying, “Maharaj sprinkled the water from his wet clothes to Kuldevi Khodiyar Mataji. So, Kuldevi also became Satsangi. Mataji herself bows down to those adopting the Swaminarayan Sect.”

Situated approximately 17 km from Wankaner city, the pilgrimage site Matel Dham houses Maa Khodiyar Mandir on a high rock. The temple has decided to hand over a memorandum to the district collector on Tuesday, demanding action against the offensive statement made by Swaminarayan saint Bramhaswaroopdas. DeshGujarat
