Bhavnagar: Bharat Barad has become the new Mayor of Bhavnagar city. Monaben Parekh has been elected as his deputy. Rajubhai Rabadia has been appointed as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation (BMC). Ushaben Badheka has been announced as the whip of the ruling party. Kishore Gurumukhani is elected as the leader of the ruling party.

The names were decided by the ruling BJP’s state parliamentary board in a series of meetings in Gandhinagar last week. The new office bearers will hold these posts for two and a half years after the previous term of elected office bearers ended. DeshGujarat
