The fastest train on this route so far has been 20967/Secunderabad – Porbandar Weekly SF Express which takes 5.30 hours to travel between Ahmedabad and Jamnagar. Against this Vande Bharat Express takes only 4.40 hours.

Road journey on this route in private buses takes around or over 7 hours.

Similarly, Vande Bharat is the fastest train to reach Sanand from Ahmedabad junction, as it takes only 17 minutes against 42 minutes taken by the second fastest train on this route which is Saurashtra Express.

Vande Bharat takes 43 minutes to reach Viramgam from Ahmedabad while Somnath Express, takes 46 minutes.
