Ambaji: Devotees can witness 51 Shakthi Peeths with the help of VR (Virtual Reality) devices amid the ongoing Bhadarvi Poonam Mahamela here.
Administration is providing the free food facility during the Mahamela at Diwali Ba restaurant.
To maintain cleanliness in the Ambaji pilgrimage, an arrangement is made to collect the coconut offerings to Mataji and return half of them to the devotees.
In a unique initiative by a local BJP leader PN Mali, as many as 150 uniformed rickshaw drivers are offering free rides to senior citizens and other needy pilgrims between the parking lot and Ambaji mandir for seven days during the ongoing fair.
Over 2,000 children are given identity cards by the district administration so that in case they are lost during the ongoing Ambaji fair, their parents can be contacted easily. Over two dozen lost children are handed over to their parents at the missing child counter during the ongoing Ambaji fair.
Approximately 1250 buses from GSRTC are providing transportation services to pilgrims at the ongoing fair in Ambaji.
As many as 1200 pilgrims can have a rest during the ongoing Bhadarvi Punam fair in Ambaji in four domes erected by Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Board with facilities such as a registration counter, charging station, and more. Lakhs of pilgrims visit Ambaji during the fair on foot from all over Gujarat and neighboring States.
Health care centres are set up along the pilgrimage so that the devotees can get medical help in case of emergency.
Sweepers (safai karmacharis) who keep clean pilgrim town Ambaji during Bhadarvi Punam fair were felicitated by the district administration of Banaskantha. Safai karmacharis later offered a large religious flag to Mandir and played garba in chachar chowk.
An exhibition has been set up by the Tribal Development Department in Pancha amid the ongoing fair.
