Passenger at Ahmedabad airport shocked to find luggage bag lock open
October 01, 2023
Ahmedabad: A senior citizen who was travelling in Delhi – Ahmedabad Vistara airlines flight was shocked to see his luggage bag lock open after he arrived at SVPI airport in Ahmedabad. The things inside the bag were lying in unorganized condition as if someone had tried to find out something precious in it.
Luckily the bag was not containing any precious item and therefore nothing was stolen from it. A senior citizen approached Vistara staffers and complained about this. However he was told that when nothing is stolen from the bag, there’s no point to take this matter further.
A senior citizen passenger then emailed a complain to the airlines company. The passenger was arriving from Nepal to Ahmedabad via Delhi. No police complaint has been filed in this incident.
It’s worth noting that two police complaints have been filed by international passengers at Airport police station in Ahmedabad in recent weeks over stealing of foreign/Indian currency and ornaments from the bags. DeshGujarat
