Surat: In another shocking incident of Love Jihad or Grooming Gang, a minor Hindu girl was trapped in love affair by a migrant Muslim rickshaw driver from Uttar Pradesh by introducing self as a Hindu. The girl was eventually converted to Islamic faith and asked to wear burkha and stay inside the home only. She was beaten up for giving birth to a girl child. The girl approached Pandesara Police in Surat after her Muslim husband told her he would marry another Hindu girl for spread of Islam for which he is paid money too. Police have arrested the accused.

Surat: According to MD Upadhyay, ACP of Surat Police, ‘accused Rizwan Gafar, a migrant rickshaw driver in Surat from Uttar Pradesh identified self as Karan a Hindu to a juvenile 17-year old girl in Pandesara area of Surat. He trapped her in love-affair and then married her in year 2018 when the girl was just 17 or below the legal age of marriage. Rizwan took the girl to Delhi after marriage and revealed there that he was not Karan but his actual name was Rizwan. The girl was shocked as if sky felled on her, but by the time she had got pregnancy.’

Police said, ‘Rizwan further told her that he was believer in Islam and therefore she as her wife can’t practice idol worship therefore. The victim girl was then converted to Islam.’

Police further informed that Rizwan then took victim girl to his native in Uttar Pradesh where the girl was asked to always wear burkha. Rizwan showed displeasure when a victim girl gave birth to a female child. Rizwan told her that he was expecting a male child only. Victim girl was beaten up over this by Rizwan. Victim girl was strictly asked not to leave home and stay inside only. Subsequently the victim girl was made pregnant again and she gave birth to another child.

Police said, ‘She then got to know that her husband Rizwan was going to marry another Hindu girl. When she inquired about this, she was told by Rizwan that more Hindu girls he brings to Islamic faith, more Islam would spread and he would also get money for doing that. The girl spoke to her relatives and eventually to police, following which a team of Police nabbed the accused Rizwan.’
