Seoul Semiconductor expresses interest to set up a plant in Gujarat; Country head meets CM

New Delhi: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has started one-to-one meetings with 13 leading industrialists and investors in national capital New Delhi on Friday, 6 October morning as a prelude to the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit to be held in January-2024.
At the beginning of this one-to-one meetings, the country head of Seoul Semiconductor Mr. D.J. Kim met the Chief Minister.
The fourth largest LED globally. Seoul Semiconductor has earned a reputation as a manufacturer.
In a conversation with the country head of Seoul Semiconductor, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel gave him the details of how Gujarat is poised to become a hub for semiconductor manufacturing.
The Chief Minister especially said that Gujarat is the first state of the country to implement the Semiconductor Policy.
It was also discussed in this meeting that a well-known semiconductor company like Micron has recently laid the foundation stone of a plant at Sanand.
As per a note on this meeting shared by the State government, ‘in this regard the Country Head of Seoul Semiconductor Mr. D.J. Kim also expressed interest in setting up a plant in Gujarat.’

The Chief Minister invited the Country Heads of Seoul Semiconductor to join the Vibrant Summit-2024.
