Local Hindus march to Mamlatdar office protesting plan to set up another Madresa in Vansda

Surat: A large number of members of Hindu community marched to Mamlatdar office in Vansda in Southern Gujarat district Dang and submitted a memorandum demanding prevention of radicalism to spread in the area.

In a memorandum handed over to Mamlatdar SM vasava, the Hindu community members said that for last some time, radical Muslims are doing Jihadi activities and religions extremism. A small Vansda has 3 mosques and 3 madresas for small children.

Now by another wing of Islam, another Madresa is being set up at Mahida Saheb Vadi in attempt to hurt the peace of Vansda. A memorandum further demanded administration to check who is funding such activities and those building another Madresa are from which place. The local Hindus also demanded that ration cards, Aadhar cards etc. of migrant Muslims should be checked and verified and kept on record.
