Gandhinagar: Vijay Nehra, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Gujarat cadre, batch 2001 who is presently Secretary of Science & Technology department in Gujarat government has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Government of India for appointment as Senior Directing Staff(CS), National Defense College (NDC) under the Ministry of Defense from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ms. Mona Khandhar, Principal Secretary of Panchayats, Rural Housing & Rural Development in Gujarat government would hold additional charge of the post (PS Science & Technology) of Vijay Nehra.

Supreet Singh Gulati, Chief Executive Officer, Development Support Agency of Gujarat (D-SAG) would hold additional charge of the post of CEO, Special Project (Dholera SIR and Mandal-Bechraji SIR) under further orders relieving Nehra of additional charge of that post.
