Vadodara: A complaint has been filed in Manjalpur police station against one Sadiq Ghanchi for molestation of a minor Hindu girl residing on Vadsar Road. The complaint alleges that the 10-year-old girl was subjected to molestation for the past month while travelling in a rickshaw driven by a Sadiq, who had been commuting her to school for the past three years.
A 10-year-old daughter of Kamleshbhai’s (name changed), who lives on Vadsar Road, attends a local private school. For the last three years, Sadik Ghanchi (residing in Vadsar village) has been responsible for driving a rickshaw to transport her to and from school. Two days ago, upon returning from school, the daughter began to cry. Concerned, her mother inquired about the reason for her distress. The daughter revealed that for the past month, the rickshaw driver, Sadiq uncle, would drop off all the children first and deliberately keep her as the last passenger. During this time, he would molest her in a secluded location, forcibly placing her on his lap and threatening her with harm if she spoke out.
Upon learning the harrowing truth, the mother was deeply shaken, particularly because Sadiq had been driving her daughter to school for the past three years. After being informed, Kamleshbhai accompanied his daughter to the Manjalpur police station to file a complaint against Sadiq under the POCSO section. DeshGujarat
