Illegal spotting of lions: Two nabbed in rural Savarkundla

Savarkundla: Forest department of Gujarat government filed case against two persons for illegal spotting of wild lion. Two persons namely Akash Chudasama from Surat and Mukesh Vaghela from Savarkundla were nabbed by foresters and forest guard at Palaniya vidi area of Savarkundla range of forest department, when they entered with their vehicle to spot the wild lions. The department has seized the vehicle and sought Rs. 40,000 payment of fine as advance recovery. The Forest department has arranged extra patrolling during the Diwali vacation to curb the illegal lion spotting activities. DeshGujarat
