Gujarat CM with 7 Govt officials to visit two foreign countries this month-end

Gandhinagar: A high-level delegation of the Gujarat government, led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be on a visit to Japan and Singapore to showcase investment opportunities in the State and to invite delegates to the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024.
The tenth edition of the Summit is being organized from 10-12 January 2024. As part of promotional activities of the Summit, it was under the consideration of the State government to send a high-level delegation led by the Chief Minister to Japan and Singapore.
The Government of Gujarat, after due consideration, has approved a delegation led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to visit Japan and Singapore from 27 November to 2 December this year. While the visit to Japan will take place from 27-30 November, a visit to Singapore will take place from 1-2 December.
Seven officers of the Gujarat government namely Raj Kumar(Chief Secretary), Pankaj Joshi (Additional Chief Secretary to CM), SJ Haider (Additional Chief Secretary, Industries & Mines Department), a senior representative from GIFT city, Arti Kanwar, Resident Commissioner to Gujarat govt, Gaurang Makwana, MD of iNDEXTb and Neel Patel, personal assistant to CM will accompany the Chief Minister during this two nations visit.
The visit shall involve seven working days(excluding travel time). The expenditure of this visit will be borne by the State government from the relevant budget head of the Industries & Mines department. DeshGujarat
