Former Mamlatdar detained in DA case

Himmatnagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat has detained former Mamlatdar of Himmatnagar, Deveshkumar Patel in disproportionate assets (DA) case involving alleged excess assets worth Rs. 1.47 crore. Devesh Patel was deputy Mamlatdar from 2008 to 2018. In response to a complaint alleging corrupt practices, ACB initiated a probe which revealed that Patel had 70.78% DA compared to a legal source of income.
