Big wins for BJP in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh; Many fold better performance in Telangana

Gandhinagar: A big day for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today. The party is all set to win three out of four States with a clear majority, the counting of votes for which is on today.

As of 2.30 pm, BJP has lead/won 55 seats in Chhattisgarh, while Congress is at 32 in the 90-seat assembly house.

BJP is set to snatch Chhattisgarh from Congress, the trends indicate. In Madhya Pradesh, BJP is winning the State assembly polls with a thumping majority of lead/won on 162 seats out of 230, leaving the nearest rival Congress far behind with 66 seats. BJP has snatched Rajasthan from Congress with a win/lead on 110 seats, leaving Congress far behind with 74 seats.

Congress has snatched Telangana from the ruling BHRS party. While Congress has win/lead on 64 seats, BHRS has win/lead on 40 seats. BJP has stood third with lead/win on 8 seats, which is 8 fold high result compared to the previous assembly poll in 2018 when BJP won just 1 seat.
