PM Modi inaugurates Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2024 in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the largest global trade show in the country today, being held at Helipad Ground in the state capital, a day before the onset of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024.

Spanning an area of two lakh square metres, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show is poised to be India’s largest global trade exhibition to date. The event will witness participation from 100 countries as visiting nations, with an additional 33 countries joining as partners.


 

The trade show will present over 1,000 exhibitors in the research sector, representing 20 countries, including Australia, South Korea, Singapore, the UAE, the UK, Germany, and Norway.

Featuring 13 dedicated halls, each themed around various concepts such as ‘Make in Gujarat’ and ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’, the exhibition will also include approximately 450 MSME units.

Cutting-edge products and services across diverse sectors, including emerging industries like electric vehicles, green hydrogen, renewable energy, semiconductors, and cybersecurity, will take the spotlight at the trade exhibition.

The Prime Minister’s schedule today involved engaging in bilateral discussions with international leaders, including the Presidents of East Timor and Mozambique, at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. He also held a meeting with the CEOs of prominent global corporations.

Later in the day, PM Modi, along with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will jointly lead a road show starting from outside the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.

The inauguration of the tenth edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is set for tomorrow at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. DeshGujarat
