Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved Rs. 10.77 crore allotment for 109 works in private societies under a public partnership scheme in 6 municipality areas. The scheme is effective since 2012 under which the government gives 70 percent cost while the society bears 20 percent cost and the local body of self governance bears 10 percent share of works like paver block, water pipe line, gutter pipe line, street line, rain water harvesting and paver blcok fixing in society’s common plot in private societies. The Chief Minister has the latest approved Rs. 3.17 crore for 64 works in Kalol, Rs. 6.65 crore for 20 works in Surendranagar-Dudhrej, Rs. 61.95 lakh for 11 works in Patan and Es. 21.64 lakh for two works in Viramgam, Rs. 11.09 lakh for 109 works in Jasdan. So far the government has approved 42,726 works for Rs. 3,692.42 crore under the scheme. DeshGujarat
