Morbi: Common Service Centre(CSC) operators can’t charge the visitor for filing of online applications of government schemes. The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat today nabbed a CSC operator for charging the visitors for online applications. A decoy case in which the accused was trapped by ACB involved Rs. 200 bribe.
According to ACB, it had received information that a CSC operator whose shop is in Dwarkadhish complex on Latipar road in Tankara in Morbi district would charge from visitors for filing forms of the government schemes. As per the government guideline, CSC operator is paid by the government itself for forms under PM Vishwakarma Yojana. However the accused would charge Rs. 200 to Rs. 500 from each visitor.
ACB arranged a decoy trap. The accused demanded Rs. 200 for online form filing for PM Vishwakarma Yojana. ACB team nabbed him. The accused is a 38-year old Jitendra Chauhan. DeshGujarat
