Shri 51 Shaktipeeth Parikrama Mahotsav-2024 kicks off in Ambaji

Ambaji: The five-day-long ‘Shri 51 Shaktipeeth Parikrama Mohotsav’ kicked off today in the temple town of Ambaji. Banaskantha MP Parbatbhai Patel inaugurated the Parikrama Mahotsav.
The Gujarat Pavitra Yatradahm Vikas Board, Sri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust, and Banaskantha District Administration are jointly organizing the ‘Shri 51 Shakti Peeth Parikrama Mohotsav’ at the renowned pilgrimage site Adyashakti Peeth Ambaji from 12th to 16th February. On this occasion, MP Shri Parbatbhai Patel performed aarti to Shri Yantra and Mataji and welcomed the devotees who are doing Parikrama.
MP Parbatbhai Patel on this occasion said that India is the only country in the world with social, religious, and cultural heritage. The ’51 Shaktipeeth Parikrama Mohotsav’ is our religious festival. The administration has made beautiful arrangements for the pilgrims for five days. Temples are the center of our faith and belief. Millions of devotees come to Ambaji every year and fulfill their desires. Furthermore, the MP said that such facilities have been created so that no one faces any trouble on this yatra, for which he congratulated Yatradham Vikas Board, Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust, and the district administration and prayed that the blessings of Maa Amba descend on all the devotees.
Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board Secretary Shri R. R. Rawal, giving information about the planning and arrangements made in the five-day festival, said that facilities have been planned for staying, eating, and transport during this festival. Various cultural programs will be organized daily, which the pilgrims are urged to take advantage of. He said that 51 Shaktipeeth Parikrama path was built during the tenure of PM Modi when he was Gujarat CM for 62 crores so that devotees could have a glimpse of 51 Shaktipeeths in one place.
On this occasion, Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust Chairman cum District Collector Mr. Varunkumar Baranwal said that facilities have been created to keep the faith of the devotees in this five-day festival and give them a divine feeling of the journey. Palki Yatra, and Shankhnad Yatra has been started on the first day. In the coming days, religious events including Paduka Yatra, Chamarayatra, Dhwaja Yatra, Mashal Yatra, Trishul Yatra, and Jyot Yatra have been planned. Also during this festival various facilities like food arrangement, health, hygiene, water arrangement, bus facility, security, and safety will be made available to the pilgrims every day for free. During this festival, a special aarti will be organized at the foot of Gabbar every evening at 7 o’clock, said the collector.
