GUJCOMASOL to set up integrated logistic park in Mahesana; Bhoomipujan held

Mahesana: GUJCOMASOL will set up a Rs. 65 crore integrated logistic park at Mahesana. The groundbreaking of the proposed park was performed by former Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel.
The proposed park will host processing, value addition, storage, etc., infrastructure. The park will have a 20-tonne/day packing house for fruits and vegetables, a 2-tonne/hour unit for frozen fruit and vegetable processing, a 5,000-metric ton capacity cold storage facility, a 2,000-metric ton capacity frozen store, and a 63,000-square-foot export warehouse facility.
7 district sangh, 80 taluka sangh, over 2,000 farmer cooperatives, and around 4 lakh farmers will benefit from this park. Farmers from Mahesana, Sabarkantha, Banaskantha, Patan, Arvalli, Gandhinagar, and Ahmedabad districts will be able to sell fruits and vegetables directly in this logistic park. Speaking on this occasion, GUJCOMASOL chairman Dilip Sanghani said that GUJCOMASOL plans to set up 250 malls for buying and selling farm produce. DeshGujarat
