Vadodara: A video has gone viral, showing an elderly man being brutally beaten by two individuals near Tulsidham Char Rasta in the city. The incident occurred on Friday evening when an old man suspected of theft was beaten by two youths. Despite the old man’s pleas, the youths continue to brutally assault him, while onlookers merely watch instead of intervening to rescue him.

However, a citizen reported the incident to the police. According to the complaint filed by the informant, they were driving home from work around 6:30 in the evening when they noticed a commotion near Tulsidham circle. Upon inquiry, they found a group of people gathered around an unknown man allegedly tampering with the lighting wires. There, two men were assaulting the old man on suspicion of theft with a pipe while using derogatory language. The informant immediately contacted the police, and upon the arrival of the police car, the assailant fled the scene.
