Two assailants attack, threaten judge in his chamber at Borsad court

Anand: In a startling occurrence, an additional chief judicial magistrate at Borsad court was assaulted by two unidentified attackers in his office on Friday afternoon.
It is learned that two people entered the chamber of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate M.D. Nandani at around 2:35 pm and verbally abused him. The individuals also struck him on the head, tore a button of his shirt. The accused tried to use a wooden teapoy as a weapon but it broke. The assailants also issued severe threats while fleeing the scene. Court registrar L.A. Pancholi has filed a complaint regarding the incident.
The police are investigating all potential motives behind the attack, stated Pramodkumar K. Diyora, deputy superintendent of police (DySP). Various teams including the special operation group, local crime branch, and other personnel have been assembled to nab the assailants. DeshGujarat
