Amit Shah in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah today arrived in Ahmedabad for filing nomination form as Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat candidate of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Shah will file his nomination at 12.39 pm in the Collector office at Gandhinagar on 19th of April which is the last date for filing nomination form in Gujarat.

Shah arrived in Ahmedabad today and reached his Thaltej based residence where he was visited by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil and MoS Home Harsh Sanghavi among others. A meeting between these leaders at Shah’s residence apparently discussed the political situation in Gujarat ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, polling for which is scheduled to take place on 7th of May.

Shah will on Thursday, 18th April attend mega road shows starting from 8 am at Sanand, followed by Kalol in the same morning, Sabarmati post 3.00 pm, Ghatlodiya after 4.30 pm, Naranpura post 5.30 pm and Vejalpur at 6.30 pm. Shah will at the end of all road shows address a public meeting near the Amdavad Municipal Corporation’s ward office at Vejalpur late in the evening. Thus Shah will attend road shows across all assembly constituencies in his Lok Sabha seat area. DeshGujarat
