Congress approaches district administration over FB live video of polling booth ; two detained

Gandhinagar: The main opposition Congress party has approached the district administration of Mahisagar after screen-capture of Facebook live video of a youth Vijay Bhabhor went viral in which he was seen in control of the Electronics Voting Machine (EVM) for about four minutes and casting votes for BJP candidate on behalf of others.

The incident according to Congress party is from Parthampur village of Santrampur in Dahod Lok Sabha constituency.

Congress candidate Dr. Prabhaben Taviyad has approached the district administration of Mahisagar over this video of one Vijay Bhabhor. Vijay is son of BJP leader Ramesh Bhabhor. He can be seen speaking abusive words about election official (possibly presiding officer). In the video, Vijay boats himself as one and only leader. He makes claim that he can take EVM to home even. After Congress candidate’s complain before the administration, Vijay Bhabhor removed his video.

An official complaint by Santrampur Mamlatdar I.P. Pathan has led to the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against two individuals, Vijay Bhabhor and Magan Damor, stated Mahisagar ASP V.P. Bheda. Both the accused have been detained and booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including IPC Section 128, 121, 122, 131/B, 171/D, and 135.  DeshGujarat
