Rajkot: Union Minister and BJP Candidate from Rajkot Lok Sabha Seat, Parshottam Rupala, addressed a press conference today following the polling for the general election of the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. During the press conference, Rupala once again apologized to the Kshatriya community.
Addressing the media, Rupala said, “The voting process has been completed today, and I want to share the thoughts of my heart with you all. You all know that I have spent 40 years in public life, and this has been the hardest time in my life. Due to one of my statements, I had to go through the most difficult time of my 40 years of public life. I have to say that I made a mistake, a mistake that agitated the Kshatriya community. However, this mistake also caused suffering for my party, which has been very painful for me. Previously, my statements used to be an asset for my party, but the statement I made when I was the candidate became a problem for my party. I accept this and the whole responsibility of this is mine.”
Rupala appealed to the Kshatriya community, saying, “I am also human, and humans can make mistakes. I had nothing in my heart, so I apologized, and then again apologized in front of the community. However, it is no longer a matter of votes, and it is no longer a political issue. Now, I, Parshottam Rupala, as a Bharatiya Janata Party worker, first apologize to the Kshatriya community who were hurt. Today, I humbly apologize to the entire Kshatriya community and also seek apology from Mother Shakti of Kshatriya Samaj.” DeshGujarat
