Four drowned in sea at Dandi coast

Navsari: Seven persons drowned in the sea at Dandi near Navsari in South Gujarat today. Police and Home Guard jawans rescued three persons, while four including two women and two children were missing.
The Fire Brigade and local swimmers were searching for missing persons by using boats. The District Collector of Navsari and the District Police chief also rushed to the spot.
There was a large rush of people at Dandi coast due to Sunday. Among those missing due to drowning are Navsari-based Sushilaben and her son Yuvraj, Deshraj, and Sushilaben’s sister’s daughter Durga who is from Rajasthan. The locals have demanded that the administration should put up a signboard warning people against venturing into the sea. DeshGujarat
