Ahmedabad: Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital has entered into a third MoU with the Government of Rajasthan for the free diagnosis of needy heart patients in Rajasthan. Under this agreement, more than 1000 heart disease patients will receive treatment free of charge.

Patients suffering from heart disease receive free treatment at Shree Sathya Sai Heart Hospitals in Ahmedabad and Rajkot. All types of heart disease operations are performed at no cost in this hospital. The hospital has signed agreements with different states of the country, including Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Assam, Bihar, and Ladakh.

Earlier MoUs were signed between the hospital and the Rajasthan government in 2019 and 2022. Now, another MoU has been signed, according to which patients from Rajasthan seeking heart disease treatment at Sathya Sai Hospitals in Ahmedabad and Rajkot will undergo surgery free of charge. Additionally, the Rajasthan government has announced a rent allowance of 5 thousand rupees for the patients. So far, more than 4 thousand patients have undergone heart surgery under this scheme.
