Bhuj: Fire broke out at Sur Mandir Cineplax movie complex in Bhuj. The Cineplax is located on Bus Stand road of Bhuj. Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and initiated efforts to douse the fire. None is injured or dead in this incident. A movie was on in cineplax when fire broke out, but people were safely evacuated promptly.

According to Bhuj fire department, a call on control room was received at 4 pm. 3 water browser and mini fire tender were moved to the spot. It was found that fire had taken place on the upper floor based screen of cineplax. Fire team broke the roof and glasses and used 36,000 liter water to douse the fire. Fire fighting team’s driver and pump operator Raviraj Gadhvi suffered injury on his hand due to sharp glass during the operation. He was taken to Sterling hospital in Gandhidham.
